Hyundai is spinning off its Ioniq nameplate into a separate electric vehicle brand, and will introduce three new models over the next four years.

In Canada, Hyundai sells three versions of the Ioniq compact hatchback, as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric. It also sells the compact Kona crossover with a conventional gasoline engine or as an all-electric; and plans to offer the Nexo fuel-cell vehicle in limited markets.
