Amazon's new delivery van is one of the cutest things poking up on the automotive horizon. It's fully electric, built to make delivery drivers' lives easier, and is the spawn of a huge deal between up-and-coming EV maker Rivian and Amazon. The Baby Yoda of delivery vehicles went into production late last year, and Amazon is planning on having them on the road early in 2021. Thing is, we just didn't expect the wide-eyed vans to hit the streets this early.

A video of one of Rivian's vantastic creations was posted to YouTube less than two weeks after the start of the year, and we're happy to see that Amazon, erm, delivered on its promise to get the EVs out there on time. An Amazon spokesperson confirmed to us that the van you see in the video isn't quite the finished product, however, and that it was just out for some early testing. While the vans are quite rare at the moment, they'll soon be everywhere, just like Amazon's current fleet of gas- and diesel-fueled delivery vans.
