Maserati is back with a brand-new mid-engined sports car, powered by a brand-new V6 completely designed in-house.

The chassis was developed with the help of race car builder Dallara, starting with a carbon-fibre tub that helps keep the MC20’s curb weight down to just 1,500 kg. Maserati spent over 2,000 hours in Dallara’s wind tunnel to perfect the shape, and it’s resulted in a beautiful and function sports car.

In a new, innovative touch, the Maserati trident logo has been made into a motif louvered into the clear engine cover, but what’s under that engine cover is much more interesting.
