Hyundai is updating its popular Kona crossover for 2021, giving it new looks as well as a new N Line trim.

The Korean automaker says the styling is shark-inspired, but to us it looks like the xenomorph from Alien, with a sweeping front hood and a large grille extending to the top of a secondary intake. The headlights flank the grille, and a set of thin daytime running lights sit atop the crest of the hood.

The N-Line takes a completely different direction however, and moves the Hyundai logo into the grille to make room for three air intake vents. A large lower intake takes up more space, and takes in more air. Both vehicles receive a wider stance as well as a front skid plate.
